Who Can Reach Them

Every adult puts one dollar on a card in their own name before a single word reaches your young person. The card is real, the payment is on record, and they write their name, their family name and their address, held by us alone. They also write their own page, so your young person reads a person rather than a payment.

What A Stranger Can See

Their first name, their suburb, their street, and the words they wrote themselves. Their family name and their house number are held by us alone, so we can reach you on the one night it matters.

Where The Money Goes

Straight to them, from the neighbour, in whatever way you both agree. LocaLilly never touches what your young person earns and never takes a cut. Their listing costs ten dollars a month once they are open, and the first month is free.

Named Beside Them, Never On Their Account

Nobody sits on their account but them. Your name and your email are held here, shown to nobody, so you can be reached on the one night it matters. At fifteen you sign one page first — witnessed by a doctor, a dentist, a pharmacist or a bank manager — and their business opens the day it comes back. From sixteen there is no form, and every word they write is kept exactly as they wrote it.

Their Age

Fifteen is the age they can start, and that is the law rather than our rule. You are the one who tells us their birthday, rather than them.
